Vicky's dramatization of The Ugly Duckling was toured this spring by The Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch, to local Junior Schools.
Two dramatizations of Jacqueline Wilson books, The Suitcase Kid and Secrets, were published by Nick Hern Books.
In March Vicky visited VISIONI DI FUTURO, VISIONI DI TEATRO Testoni Ragazzi Theatre - Bologna – Italy. A festival of theatre work for 0-3 yrs.

Vicky's adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's The Suitcase Kid, opened at The Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond, London and toured with Watershed Productions to Stoke-on-Trent, Scarborough and Warwick Arts Centre for Christmas.
In collaboration with performer Kumiko Mendl, Vicky formed the new theatre company A Thousand Cranes. From West to East from East to West, A Thousand Cranes aims to create visual, vibrant, physical theatre inspired by stories from Japan and Europe which celebrate and unite the two differing cultures and is committed to work that promotes intercultural dialogue and exchange.
In May, Vicky visited Africa to deputise at ASSITEJ UK (the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People) and as a representative at the ASSITEJ International Executive meeting in Lusaka, Zambia.
In July, Vicky visited Japan as a guest of the Okinawa Kijimuna Children's Festival and to take part as a panellist in a symposium on Education in Theatre for Children.

On January 20th 2006 Vicky took part in a panel discussion at the National Theatre with Adrian Mitchell and Anthony Clark on Adapting children's novels for the stage.
Vicky's play Friendly Matches, based on the football poems of Allan Ahlberg was published by Dramatic Lines.
Her dramatisations of Jacqueline Wilson's books The Lottie Project, Bad Girls and Midnight were published by Nick Hern Books.
ACA - Action for Children's Arts - of which Vicky is Vice Chair, had a very successful conference day at the splendid new Unicorn Theatre for Children on Architecture, Artists and Children.
Yellow Earth Theatre, of which Vicky is Chair, presented The Nightingale at Polka Theatre from 8th Feb - 11th March.

Vicky was guest director of Theatre Antidote, Cyprus on The Odyssey and did drama workshops for Greek and Armenian children under the auspices of the British Council, Cyprus.
Vicky visited Montreal, Canada to represent the UK at the 15th World Congress of ASSITEJ International (the international association of theatre for children and young people).
She devised and directed The Emperor's Nightingale with students from East 15 Drama School, London, which toured to local primary schools.
